The non-fused power factor corrections units are matched to the load ampage to insure optimum performance at the most competitive price. It's capacitor switching includes secondary switches that close prior to the main contact. These units are UL listed for assured safety.
The fused power factor correction units include a housed fuse and are constructed to its specified ampacity of the load. It is designed to reduce spikes and therefore sustain a prolonged lifespan.
